"Dippy" the Diplodocus at London's Natural History Museum celebrates its 100th anniversary today. The 26m long copy of a skeleton of the plant-eating sauropod has been living in the museum since it was donated by King Edward VII on 12 May 1905. The huge beast, one of the longest land animal that ever lived, is now being scrubbed up in honour of its 100th birthday.
